# Distribution Checklist

The book exists. The [call script](../../knowledge/strategy/questions.llms.md) exists. The widget exists. The job left is putting them in front of humans on the channels they already visit. This chapter is the checklist for doing that systematically.

Work through it in order, not all at once. One to three actions per day.

## The Ten Most Potent Pieces

Produce these first. They are the shortest, most visceral, most shareable claims in the book. Each one is its own standalone post, thread, and short-form video.

1. **“Every second, two humans die of preventable disease.”** The per-second framing from the [call script](../../knowledge/strategy/questions.llms.md).
2. **“Your vote is attributable to [2.6 lives](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-voter_lives_saved) saved and [468 thousand hours](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-voter_suffering_hours_prevented) of suffering prevented.”** The per-voter math.
3. **“The Pentagon cannot find [\$2.46 trillion](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-pentagon_unaccounted_funds). The treaty redirects [\$27.2 billion](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-treaty_annual_funding) a year.”** Scale comparison.
4. **“Before WW2, US military spending was [96.7%](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-us_1939_military_spending_pct_lower_than_current) lower than today’s peacetime budget, in constant dollars. The US won from that baseline.”** Precedent.
5. **“1% of military spending produces [12.3](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-dfda_trial_capacity_multiplier) times more clinical-trial capacity, compressing the timeline for curing every known disease from [443](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-status_quo_queue_clearance_years) years to [36](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-dfda_queue_clearance_years).”** The core claim.
6. **“A thirty-second vote has an expected value of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars per hour of calling.”** The EV math.
7. **“Disease eradication is an engineering problem, not a faith problem.”** The reframe.
8. **“No movement reaching [3.5% (95% CI: 1%-10%)](../../knowledge/appendix/parameters-and-calculations.llms.md#sec-global_population_activism_threshold_pct) active public support has failed in the last century. Zero.”** The Chenoweth result.
9. **“If each person persuades two, thirty-two doublings reaches four billion. That is eight months.”** The viral math.
10. **“Either I am crazy or I have discovered the most important secret in the history of the universe.”** The opener.

Produce each of these once. Post across all platforms. Reuse indefinitely.

## Per-Platform Format Checklist

For each chapter in the book, convert and post in each applicable format.

**Text platforms:**

Medium article (adapted chapter, 3-8 minute read, crosslinked to the book)

Substack post (same content, to your own list, with a crosslink to the book)

LinkedIn article (cut to 1-3 minute read, focused on one argument per post)

Personal blog post (canonical version, if maintaining one)

**Short-form social:**

X / Twitter thread (10-25 posts with the strongest claims plus the book link)

Bluesky thread (mirror of the X thread)

Threads post (summary plus hook plus link)

Facebook post (for audiences that still use it; include the widget link directly)

**Community platforms:**

Reddit post in 2-3 relevant subs (r/EffectiveAltruism, r/philanthropy, r/PublicHealth, r/science, r/Futurology, r/AskReddit for visceral claims)

Hacker News submission (for technical or mechanism-heavy chapters: [DFDA](../../knowledge/solution/dfda.llms.md)^([1](../references.llms.md#ref-dfda-spec-paper-2025),[2](../references.llms.md#ref-dfda-impact-paper-2025)), [IAB](../../knowledge/solution/incentive-alignment-bonds.llms.md)^([3](../references.llms.md#ref-iab-paper-2025)), [Optimocracy](https://manual.warondisease.org/knowledge/appendix/optimocracy-paper.html)^([4](../references.llms.md#ref-optimocracy-paper-2025)), [GDP Trajectories](https://manual.warondisease.org/knowledge/economics/gdp-trajectories.html)^([5](../references.llms.md#ref-gdp-trajectories-paper-2025)))

Quora answer (pick a relevant question, answer with a chapter’s argument plus a link)

Lemmy / Mastodon (for audiences that fled the big platforms)

**Video:**

YouTube Short (the most visceral 60-90 second version of the argument)

Instagram Reel (same video, different platform)

TikTok (same video, different platform)

Long-form YouTube video (for chapters with enough meat for a 10-20 minute explainer)

**Audio:**

Podcast pitch (your show, as host; or their show, as guest)

Audio version of the short post (for podcast feeds that accept micro-episodes)

**Free paid channels (for qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits):**

Google Ad Grants (\$120,000/year in free Google Ads; apply at google.com/grants)

Microsoft Ads credits via Microsoft for Nonprofits

Meta Ad Credits (occasional grants; watch for cycles)

YouTube Nonprofit Program (video ad features and fundraising tools)

Every SaaS tool’s nonprofit pricing tier (most are free or 50-100% off; always ask)

## Cadence

A realistic steady-state looks like this:

- **Daily:** 1 X post. 1 Bluesky post. 5 minutes engaging in a relevant subreddit or LinkedIn thread.
- **Weekly:** 1 Medium article. 1 Substack post. 1 Reddit post. 1 short-form video.
- **Monthly:** 1 long-form YouTube video. 1 podcast appearance (as guest). 1 Hacker News submission.

Use Buffer, Hypefury, or similar to batch-schedule. Once a batch is queued, you do not have to think about it again for a week.

## Cross-Linking Discipline

Every post links back to the relevant chapter of the book. Every chapter cites the standalone papers it draws from (`1-pct-treaty-impact.qmd`, `dfda-spec-paper.qmd`, etc.). Every external reference points to a source in `references.bib`.

The goal: any reader who encounters any single post can navigate to the full argument in three clicks, and any claim they are suspicious of has a source they can verify.

## What to Measure, What to Ignore

**Measure:**

- Voters acquired per platform (if analytics on the widget permits attribution)
- Substack subscribers
- Podcast appearance requests received
- Grant-funder replies
- Nonprofit partnership responses

**Ignore:**

- Individual post engagement (likes, retweets, comments)
- Platform follower counts
- The algorithm’s current mood

Engagement is the metric platforms measure so they can sell your attention back to you. Voter acquisition is the metric the plan runs on. One counts eyeballs. The other counts humans who clicked “yes” on not dying. Your species has a remarkable ability to optimize for the wrong number.

## The Single Rule That Matters

If you cannot produce a post, thread, or video in one sitting of thirty minutes or less, the format is too ambitious. Cut scope until you can. A ten-post X thread posted this week beats a fifty-post thread that never ships. The book is already written. Repurposing it should not take as long as writing it.

*We present the Predictor Impact Score (PIS), a novel composite metric operationalizing Bradford Hill causality criteria for automated signal detection from aggregated N-of-1 observational studies. Combined with pragmatic trial confirmation (based on evidence from 108+ embedded trials), this two-stage framework would generate validated outcome labels at 44.1x lower cost than traditional Phase III trials. This enables continuous, population-scale pharmacovigilance and precision dosing recommendations.*

*Only 15 diseases/year get their first treatment each year. With 6,650 diseases lacking effective treatments, the backlog would take 443 years to clear. Integrating pragmatic trials into standard healthcare increases trial capacity 12.3x, cutting that timeline from 443 years to 36 years. The average untreated disease gets a treatment 212 years earlier, saving 10.7 billion deaths at \$9.62 per year of healthy life saved.*

*Government spending is optimized for lobbying intensity, not net societal value. Programs with 100:1 benefit-cost ratios get billions while programs with negative returns get hundreds of billions. Incentive Alignment Bonds flip this by creating a capital pool that rewards politicians (via campaign support and post-office opportunities) for funding high-NSV programs over low-NSV alternatives. The result: public good becomes private profit for both investors and elected officials.*

Sinn, M. P. *Optimocracy: Causal Inference on Cross-Jurisdictional Policy Data to Maximize Median Health and Wealth*. <https://manual.warondisease.org/knowledge/appendix/optimocracy-paper.html> (2025) doi:[10.5281/zenodo.18356213](https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18356213)

*Thousands of jurisdictions have made different policy and budget choices over decades, creating a natural experiment. Optimocracy applies causal inference to this cross-jurisdictional time-series data to identify which policies predict above-average median income and healthy life years. It then publishes evidence-based recommendations for every major vote, tracks politician alignment, and funds aligned candidates via SuperPAC, making suboptimal policy politically expensive while preserving democratic structures.*

*Your destructive economy (military spending plus cybercrime) is already 11.5% of GDP and growing faster than your productive economy. At current rates, it reaches the Soviet collapse threshold in 8 years and exceeds productive output in 15. This paper models two GDP trajectories: the optimized path under military-to-medical reallocation, and the default path to civilizational collapse.*

Harvard Kennedy School. 3.5% participation tipping point. *Harvard Kennedy School* <https://www.hks.harvard.edu/centers/carr/publications/35-rule-how-small-minority-can-change-world> (2020)

*The research found that nonviolent campaigns were twice as likely to succeed as violent ones, and once 3.5% of the population were involved, they were always successful. Chenoweth and Maria Stephan studied the success rates of civil resistance efforts from 1900 to 2006, finding that nonviolent movements attracted, on average, four times as many participants as violent movements and were more likely to succeed. Key finding: Every campaign that mobilized at least 3.5% of the population in sustained protest was successful (in their 1900-2006 dataset) Note: The 3.5% figure is a descriptive statistic from historical analysis, not a guaranteed threshold. One exception (Bahrain 2011-2014 with 6%+ participation) has been identified. The rule applies to regime change, not policy change in democracies.
